Three Rivers Internet has setup this AUP to protect ourselves and our clients. As a Three Rivers Internet client or system user, you are responsible for reading, understanding and following these policies and should accept the responsiblity of reporting any abuse you suspect or witness to email@example.com or use this form. If you do not agree with these policies please contact us immediately to cancel your service with us.
These policies are in addition to any and all agreed upon terms set forth between Three Rivers Internet and our clients in any contracts that may have been signed by both parties.
These policies represents guidelines for the acceptable use of the Three Rivers Internet services for data communications. It is intended to be applicable only to the use of Three Rivers Internet's networks and computer systems.
In such instances where data communications leave Three Rivers Internet's network and are carried by other networks or the Internet, the acceptable use policies of other networks are applicable, and must be respected.
Three Rivers Internet shall assume no responsibility for any of our clients actions, nor the actions of persons accessing our network or computer systems from outside our organization.
All items covered/mentioned under this section, "Acceptable Uses", of Three Rivers Internet's AUP shall NOT include any and all activity that is considered illegal as governed by the laws of the United States of America and/or the State of Washington.
Websites - Acceptable use of websites on Three Rivers Internet's network or computer systems shall include the use for personal, commercial, or other advertising, display or promotion of any material as long as it does not interfere with the services, network, or computer systems owned and operated by Three Rivers Internet or other organizations and as long as any information you make available is true and not misleading. As a client you are allowed to rent advertising space in the form of banner advertisements, limited to a maximum of one banner per webpage, but not resale of your website space to another organization.
FTP Space - Acceptable use of FTP space on Three Rivers Internet's networks and computer systems shall include the use for transfer by our clients TO and FROM our computer systems electronic media for placement on the Clients Website or FTP Space for download by them or other persons through the Internet as long as any information you make available is true and not misleading.
Email - Acceptable use of the Three Rivers Internet's networks and computer systems for the transmittal of electronic mail shall include for commercial or private use for the normal communication of ideas, information, correspondence, and data transmittal.

Websites - Unacceptable uses of websites on Three Rivers Internet's network or computer systems shall include the display of any and all material in any form containing any of the following:
FTP Space - Unacceptable uses of FTP Space on Three Rivers Internet's network or computer systems shall include making available for download any of the following:
Email - Unacceptable uses of Three Rivers Internet's network or computer systems for delivery of electronic mail shall include the sending of unsolicited bulk mail messages (junk mail or spam). This includes, but is not limited to, bulk-mailing of commercial advertising, and informational announcements. Such material may only be sent to those who have explicitly requested it. Harassment, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages. Forwarding or otherwise propagating chain letters, whether or not the recipient wishes to receive such mailings. Sending malicious email, including but not limited to "mailbombing" (flooding a user or site with very large or numerous pieces of email). Forging of e-mail header (envelope) information. Any attempt to forward mail through the Three Rivers Internet's network or computer systems.
Violations of the above Email Policies can and probably will get you and/or your ISP added to our internal Blacklist, which will not allow any email from you and/or your ISP to be sent through or to our systems.
Three Rivers Internet uses Email Server software that rejects any and all email that contains forged header (envelope) information and email from know Spammers and does not allow forwarding of email through our systems. We also do not allow anonymous sending of email using our systems.
Three Rivers Internet also implements Realtime Blackhole Lists (RBL) on ALL of our Email Servers, so if you get on one of these RBLs you will be banned from sending email to our systems in addition to thousands of other servers. We utilize the following several Blacklists.
All requests for removal from the Three Rivers Internet Email Server Blacklist must be made by phone to 509-946-3163.
Three Rivers Internet also implements a spamtrap where any email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com or one of various other spamtrap addresses will be rejected as unwanted email.
Performing any activity that could disrupt service in any way is not allowed.
Right of Refusal
Notwithstanding any other provision of these guidelines, Three Rivers Internet reserves the right to decline to provide service to any user for any reason, including, but not limited to inappropriate postings, uploadings and the inclusion of objectionable material in webpages. If Three Rivers Internet deems that the policies outlined above are not being followed, for any reason, we reserve the right to suspend service for at least one week, without refund of credit for such time of suspension and request that the problems be fixed. If at the end of a reasonable time of suspension the problem is not fixed satisfactorily by Three Rivers Internet's judgement termination of the offending account will be IMMEDIATE, PERMANENT, and without refund.
Modifications to these policies
Three Rivers Internet reserves the right to make modifications to any of these policies at any time without prior notification.
